Moonlight Paranormal

The Swan and Royal Hotel in Clitheroe is just one of the many haunted locations in this historical town. Dating back to the early 1800's this Inn has seen many faces pass through the doors. Many famous names have stayed in the now haunted bedrooms such as Sir Winston Churchill and Gandhi. The rooms are now named after their influential visitors and each hold a story of the time they spent. On Halloween we will be visitng the Swan and Royal Hotel to see which of the hotels many visitors haunts the rooms they once slept in, and what secrets did they take to their grave. On this special event, guests will be taken on a ghost walk around Clitheroe, shown the haunted locations, and told some of the many ghost stories this town has to tell.

The ghost walk, conducted by Simon Entwisle, will begin and finish at The Swan and Royal Hotel. Taken in two groups, the first will leave at 7:00pm, and the second will leave at 8:30pm, with each tour expected to last approximately one hour. On return to the Hotel, food will be available, and Moonlight Paranormal will take over to begin the ghost hunt, conducting vigils in the dark, with ghost hunting equipment such as E.M.F Meters, temperature meters and pendulums, and using methods such as table tipping, ouiji boards, and scrying to contact the spirits of this building.
